Maureen Mathews
has been a Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse since 1994.
She spent eight years working in a Primary Care Practice.
Maureen has been part of the OSF Stroke Service since November
of 2002 and obtained her Certified Neurological Registered Nurse
Certification in 2006. She has presented numerous lectures
regarding stroke and stroke risk factor management for nursing,
other health care professionals and the general public. Maureen
is an active member of AHA/ASA, AANN, ISAPN, Sigma Theta Tau and
AANP. She is also active in community associations promoting
health care as well as community service organizations.
