Our Services
Our Stroke Center is the first in Illinois to earn national
certification for stroke care from the Joint Commission on
Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations. Our stroke team has
been recognized for its commitment to significantly improve
outcomes for stroke patients. The in-depth experience and
expertise of our elite team to quickly identify and treat strokes
with the most advanced, lifesaving techniques make us a model
program for the nation. Our Stroke Center treats more than 700
stroke patients each year with inpatient and outpatient specialty
care from the emergency room and treatment through rehabilitation
and follow-up. With its intensive and specialized services, our
Stroke Center serves as the hub site for education and support to
23 hospitals in the OSF Stroke Network.
